Income Requirements: - The family's total, gross annual income must not exceed HUD-established income limits for participation in the Affordable Housing Program. - This includes all "countable" income anticipated for the upcoming year. - Examples of countable income include wages, unemployment benefits, workmen's compensation, Social Security, Pensions, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF), regular contributions from family or friends, and child support payments. Application Process: 1. Obtain an Application: - Applications for affordable housing are available at every Mobile Housing Board apartment complex. - Visit or contact the Property Manager's Office. - For a comprehensive list of developments, click here. 2. Submitting Applications: - Applications are received, dated, time stamped, and processed at each Property Manager's Office. - You can apply at multiple housing developments, with the exception of "seniors only" developments. - Each development maintains its own waiting list. - It's important to note that waiting lists may vary in length between sites. - Stay up-to-date with open and closed lists, and access site-specific information by contacting our management offices.
