Arion Court: Providing Housing Solutions for Homeless Individuals Arion Court, nestled in downtown Seattle, offers a range of housing options for those in need. With 37 well-equipped units, this facility caters to currently homeless individuals, offering comfortable Single-Room Occupancy (SRO) units with shared bathrooms. A Welcoming and Cooperative Community Arion Court boasts a vibrant community atmosphere, featuring a large community room and kitchen area where residents can gather and bond. This facility is conveniently located in close proximity to shopping centers and public transportation, ensuring ease of access for its residents. Functional and Cozy Living Spaces Each of the 37 units at Arion Court spans approximately 175 square feet, providing ample space for individuals to thrive. The living spaces are equipped with essential amenities including a stove top, fridge, sink, and closet, offering residents the basic conveniences they need. Accessible through several floors, the facility can be reached by stairs. Eligibility and Referrals Eligibility for transitional units at Arion Court is exclusively reserved for veterans and is obtained through referral from the VA. Permanent units are primarily allocated to tenants transitioning from our esteemed transitional program. As such, public applications for housing units are rarely available. In the event of a public vacancy, it will be promptly listed on the website's Available Units page. Affordable Rent with Subsidies The Seattle Housing Authority subsidizes the rent for all units at Arion Court, ensuring that residents pay no more than 30% of their income towards rental expenses. This affordable rent structure serves to alleviate financial burdens and create stability for those in need. Convenient Amenities Arion Court offers an array of amenities to enhance residents' quality of life. Residents can access shared bathrooms and showers, located conveniently throughout the facility. Additionally, each floor is equipped with a washer and dryer for added convenience.
